 Welcome

Dedicated to Sharing the Message

We are dedicated to helping you connect with others just like yourself.  We not only offer an exciting worship service, we also offer smaller, more interactive groups.  This is the perfect place to develop friendships.  Small groups meet regulary for Bible Study and prayer.  It is a place of commitment to accountability, friendship and support.  It is a safe place to open your heart, share your life, and ask tough questions.  It is here that we also focus on God's Word and growing disciples of Christ.

Visit and see what the Lord has waiting for you.

Leading Children to Christ!
Dudley Baptist realizes that you love your children and demand only the best for them. We go the extra mile to assure that our children's ministry not only provides a loving and safe environment, but also an engaging, fun, and instructive way of learning about our Lord. Check your kids into our Children's Ministries, and check out all that we do for your kids.  Our ministries include, but are not limited to:  252 Basics, AWANA and Children's Choir.  All children's activities will be relevant to kids in their life today.  Kids will understand that God's Word is written for THEM, and can be applied to all parts of their lives.  Bible relevancy can be discovered by answering three questions:  Know the Bible story presented, Understand the Bible truths, and apply lessons to every-day life.

Our Children's Education department (K5 thru 5th grade) has moved in a new and exciting direction with the introduction of a program designed to teach essential truths to each age group using stories, games, crafts, service ministry, drama and worship. In September 2007, we began using the 252 Basics curriculum developed by North Point Community Church, Alpharetta, GeorgiaWe want every child who participates in this program to grow up and say:  I need to make the wise choice,  Ican trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Each week, Godtime Cards and Refrigerator Door Notes go home to give parents and children ideas to help extend the learning throughout the week.

 May's Virtue:  Humility
Putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve.
March's Memory Verse:
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.”
Philippians 2:3, NIV
.
Here’s what the bible says to parents about teaching virtues to their children…
“Impress them upon your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:7

**  Class begins promptly at 9:45 am  **

AWANA is the acronym of:
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed
(2 Timothy 2:15).

If you’re looking for the premier program to change kids’ lives, you’ve come to
the right place! Awana is the leading ministry to help local churches reach children and youth with the gospel and train them to know, love and serve Christ. Awana blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization and tons of fun.

Each evening begins with a formal flag ceremony which sets the tone of  discipline for the entire evening. Handbook time is a small-group time where clubbers recite memorized verses to their Handbook leader.  Game time is a fast-paced, high-energy time of fun on a unique AWANA game circle, this segment keeps the clubbers coming back. The last segment is Council Time. This is a large-group time with Bible teaching and the time in which the clubbers receive their awards.

God continues to bless this ministry with an awesome group of adults who serve as Handbook Leaders, Game Time leaders, Counsel Time Leaders, hall monitors and AWANA store workers.

AWANA meets Wednesdays 6:30 pm - 8:15 pm

The Children's Music Ministry is a fun-filled, adventure for children in the 1st-6th grades. With an investment of only one hour per week, your children will learn musical skills and dramatic presentation.  Children's church choirs let kids in on the real-time joy of singing and leading worship. But there's more. Many adults find that their children's choir experience instilled a homing instinct that brings them back to church.

Twice a year, at Christmas and mid-summer, the children present a Musical Extravaganza that is second to none and guaranteed to warm your heart.  We invite you to come see what all the excitement is about!

Stay tuned for our mid-summer musical estravaganza

Join us in the adult choir room promptly at 5:00 pm.
Leaders:  Kerri Redding and Christi Crozier
